This was the most successful week of my life! I had an Art show, well, 2 art shows really, and Ned and I got our first big commercial photography project. I've gone to Chicago for an opening and spend less then 24 hours in a city I don't know.

It was all amazing, and also, all really sad, as I described it, my life seem to have been hijacked by a much cooler person, who sadly, doesn't seem to have a flickr account.

I've been a member of flickr for about 4 years now, under the name Lilly1975. I've had over 4000 photos, paintings, artwork, documents and other things in my stream, it documented my big love story with Ned, now my husband, my abortion, my wedding, my friends, my professional successes, my everyday life.

Then last week, the account was deleted based, probably (I don't know for sure) for some unjustified complaint.

I'm really sad to loose all my information and interaction. I'm furious about flickr account deleting policy and their total inconsideration, the past week, with all it's successes, was incredibly sad for me, for not being able to share it with my friends and flickr contacts.

you can read more about it here:

I'm not quite sure if there will be any difference between this account and my last one, part of me want to be more careful so I never get deleted again, part of me feels like since the deletion was so random, there's no reason to keep to the rules. I guess the biggest change so far for me, is getting rid of Lilly1975 and attaching my flickr account to my real name. For me that's a big deal.

"Art is two things: A search for a road and a search for freedom. It's very hard to get freedom. You know, all these things in life keep crawling over you all the time, so it's very hard to feel free." -- Alice Neel (January 28, 1900 – October 13, 1984)

I discovered to Aya's work after to fall in love with Ned's stream. I admire the courage and how Aya's mind work. When i feel to be eated by the trivial world around me,i like to come here, she reminds me that i have to go ahead with my dreams...:) It's a pandora's box: deep, intense, passionate, funny, multitalented… Read more
