The Clochfaen is a country house set in some 22 acres, situated in the upper Wye Valley on the edge of the village of Llangurig, near Llanidloes, Powys. The house was the last private domestic architectural commission of W. A. S. Benson, a leading figure in the Arts and Crafts movement and Managing Director of William Morris and Co.

The Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust is leading initiatives to create a centre which will reflect the remarkable Military Heritage of pemroke Dock and the social development of a community which is not yet 200 years old. Plans centre on the beautifully restored Garrison Chapel, dating from 1830, and one of the most significant military buildings in Wales.
