    "Alex Stoddard.

Without a doubt, you are one of the most talented photographers in the entire industry. Your growth from the beginning of your photostream, 'till now is absolutely tremendous. You created a whole new style of photography, and your photography has inspired so many to start creating. Your 365 showed us all your growth and your talent, and the work you have done beyond your 365 just continually gets better and better. I think it's fair to say that you're inspiring in every way, and everyone on here agrees. You have inspired me like no other.

I cannot wait to see how far your photography goes from this point. Thank you for blessing me, and the rest of us, with your absolutely beautiful talent. Every time you look through a lens you create something so flawless. Never stop."

I've been meaning to write you a testimonial for ages, but I think perhaps since you've recently finished your 365 project that the testimonial may mean a little more. I just wanted to say that it's amazing how much you have grown as a photographer and your work is inspiring and utterly amazing. Looking back on days when I first discovered you on DeviantArt, long before your Flickr and 365 days, it's unreal how breathtaking your photography has become (even those photographs you were never happy with yourself). Anyway, keep up the amazing work and keep photographing away!

(and i'll make sure i'll keep bashing when i feel you could use some creative criticism haha)
    best of luck,"

I leave flickr for months on end to go to the other side of the world, and I come home to find I've just missed the end of your threesixfive. I wrote you a whole long comment, and then realised that what I wanted to say really belonged on your profile page in a testimonial.

Congratulations - really really congratulations. I remembered finding your stream right there near the beginning, and watching your work grow, and realising that even if I tried I would never catch up with you - the speed you improved at and the way you perserved are so commendable. Every day you produced a stunning piece of work, something which would take my breath away. The way you use Photoshop not simply to fix but to create and embellish is extraordinary.

You don't allow your work to fall into any one spectrum. You are not just a natural light portraitist or a fashion editorialist or digital artist. And you are not just a master of one, but of all.

Your stream is a privilege to look through. Thank you for sharing it with us."

    "Dear Alex,
i could say how much my breath is taken away by your photos. that 99% of them make me sit in front of my laptop wondering how one guy is able to be all of this: oh so creative and versatile and brave and crazy and simply freaking good.
i could tell you that there are no words to describe what your photo awoke in me.
i could narrate all of this things again (and again). and many more. but you already know it. i won't say it again.

instead i say what i should have said so much earlier: you pretend to be one of us human beings. but i know the truth: you are part of an reconnaissance patrol from a future photography-planet. amen."

"i dont write these things all too often, so im never 100% sure what to say. i just find myself in this little testimonial box from time to time when i am truly impressed.

ive known alex on flickr for a long time (*really elderly old woman voice* ooh ya know, way back when we were 365 soulmates), and i can surely attest to the amount he has grown, the time and effort he puts into his photos, and his wonderful technical skills...

but the thing that really gets me is all of the emotion. ive never met alex but sometimes i feel like i know him. its like there is a certain honesty about his work that lets me understand him. and there is always such dialogue in his images. his concepts and stories bring me such deep thoughts and forreal i love that about him. i love how he uses juxtaposition so flawlessly, and i love how he is so brave. i also love the thoughtful comments he leaves.

sometimes when i read these on peoples profiles, it seems like those writing are trying to "sell" the persons stream, like "you should definitely add alex stoddard because..." well, anyone who comes across this page right here and isnt immediately hooked for life is just straight up insane. few people have inspired me more and for that i am grateful. i also know that alex is in the same place inside many, many other hearts."

    "Alex Stoddard,

I could spend my time here, typing away at the brilliance of your creativity and boldness in photography-- It's truly stunning.

But, more importantly, I would like to hit on the fact that you have inspired me more than any other photographer on Flickr...and, really, anywhere.

    You have helped me greatly.

    Thank you, for breathing photography."

"What can you say about Alex that hasn't already been said?

His work with nature truly blows my mind. He is a natural both in front and behind the camera and I sincerely hope that his photography takes him wherever he wants to go in life. He creates such stunning pictures day after day. His style is so unique and original that you can see a thumbnail in your contacts and know immediately that "That's an Alex Stoddard."

He is inspiring. And yet he seems so down to earth and friendly. I truly truly hope he realizes how amazing he is."

I have no words for you.
    I really don't.
And it is quite hard to find words that express how amazing you.
There should be a whole dictionary with words like that.

I found your stream like 8 month ago, and I really loved it.
A boy that goes in the forest to take pictures of himself....sounds not so special....but It really is special.
Your stream is so touching, beautiful and raw that it almost breaks my heart. You are so good, and developed so much in the few months I followed you.

You know how to harmonise with your enviroment like no other on here! Your pictures always take my breath away. It is so thrilling to look at them because they are so utterly beautiful and different

You are by far one of the best's here. Don't stop being such a brilliant inspiration for all of us"

    "alex stoddard,
i've been meaning to write him this testimonial for a while now to be honest, and i don't regret ever finding his photostream. alex is a genuine and also hilarious person, i have actually found myself laughing at the computer screen at some things of the things he says, who has great potential in all aspects of photography. from the first time i viewed his photostream i was enraptured. he manages to, somehow, capture such beautiful and thought provoking images that seriously get you thinking. how did he do that? what does it represent? what's the hidden meaning? they're like puzzles that i look forward to solving everyday. his photos are so surreal and i don't know anyone who takes as much effort as he does into his 365 project. every one of his photos that has a way of edging on surrealism, but is always able to connects it back to nature. his photos all convey emotion and no matter how simple the concept or editing is, it still manages to surprise me with what he can express through his photography. alex is bold and has a wide span of creativity that is seemingly endless, as not a single one of his photos are the same. alex, you are magical and inspiring and i absolutely cannot wait to see what you can do next. i can definitely see photography in your future as you is a genius at it, so please don't stop. i'm glad that i've had the chance to get to know you through photography and flickr, so keep on being amazing! I look forward to his daily uploads for his 365 project because I know that the pictures will be breathtaking. Anyone can discern the amount of thought and effort that goes into each one of his photos. Alex definitely has a bright future ahead of him, and I can't wait to see what he produces next."
