About

AFSA Chapter 951 serves all members of the Air Force enlisted corps of Ellsworth AFB and the State of South Dakota. Our chapter was chartered on September 1, 1977.

Mission

Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) is a federally chartered non-profit Veterans Service Organization representing the professional and personal interests of active duty, guard, reserve, retired and veteran Total Air Force Enlisted Airmen and their families.

AFSA is built upon four pillars: Membership, Legislation, Communication, Fraternity.

Nationally, our legislative platform consists of seven main planks: 1) Healthcare, 2) Veterans/Retiree Benefits, 3) Caring for Survivors, 4) Military Benefits & Programs, 5) National Guard & Air Force Reserve, 6) Education, 7) Miscellaneous.

Locally, we are involved with numerous activities on Ellsworth AFB, local veteran's homes & sister organizations, and across the Black Hills of South Dakota.
