Creative is the description I remember being associated with most growing up. From ideas to stories, to painting and building and even disassembling perfectly good electronic devices to learn their secrets, I always had a drive to learn and create, and from doing so, learn more and create more.

So naturally I joined the U.S. Air Force -- to build and create. I had the singular good fortune to be assigned to a R.E.D. H.O.R.S.E. squadron, which allowed me to refine my long-established interest in building and fabrication in locales such as Zarqa, Jordan and Georgetown, Guyana. What I took away from those places was much more valuable than the schools and medical facilities we left behind. I learned to love people and to appreciate the role that wood, steel, and plaster play in shaping our sense of security and well-being.
After I left the Air Force, I further explored methods of fabrication and learned 3-D modeling and CNC programming which, when applied to multiple disciplines -- from interior environments to product design -- allowed me to close the loop of concept to design to product.

While individually unique, my experiences of building, creating, and fabricating all contribute to a unifying perspective that I hope to portray through my photography. The perspective is one not only that recognizes the beauty of the world we occupy but the beauty of its make up-- the very essence of things.
