First Kiss

About me and photography: I’ve always had an interest in walking around with a camera. And carrying one around looking for that elusive shot, makes you take more interest in the world around you, stuff you'd normally take for granted.

And that has to be a good thing.

Unless of course the world around you is a very bad place...

Only two, but what a diverse selection, eh?

    SteMurray says:

"Dave's images don't just sit still, they speak to you; voices and personalities are heard through the careful and sensible taking.
If you listen, they'll tell you a thousand tales..."

    jogorman says:

"If Flickr had a national spokesperson for Ireland his name would be Dave G Kelly. His photostream is an intimate view of Dublin and of Ireland. His attention to detail results in a portfolio of images far from the usual perspectives. I have been a fan of Dave's work for as long as I have been on Flickr and without reservation regard him as a photographic mentor and source of inspiration. On top of all that; he is a REALLY nice bloke!"

    Andy Sheridan says:

"David's stuff has been an inspiration to me over the timewasting hours I've spent on Flickr. Yes his photos are lovely. Yes he hangs with a very interesting crowd. Yes he's as funny as they come. Mainly though, he makes money from these images. I'm keeping an eye on him. Trying, unsuccessfully, to rob his ideas for all they're worth. And it seems they're worth some...Have a look, you'll see what I mean.
    I think it's his round..."

I've witnessed how Dave's photography has evolved to the stunning results we can all see now in his stream. His latest works are an absolute treat to the eye and reveal his great photographic skills.
It is a pleasure to come here every day Dave!
    Keep it up mate!

"His pictures are great. This guy sees Ireland in a uniquely 'Dave' way. He also always adds some of his personality to his pictures, which is what makes them interesting.

Dave also owes me a pint ;-)"
