Sandy Sisti of Wild at Heart Images has been a photographer for over twenty years and a lover of wildlife and nature since childhood. Her lifelong love of all things wild led her to relocate from New York to Wyoming to be close to Yellowstone National Park. During her first visit to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in 1994, Sandy felt a special connection to the area and was determined to make the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem her home. Now living in nearby Wapiti, Wyoming, Sandy is able to spend most of her days in Yellowstone and the surrounding areas observing and photographing its wealth of wildlife.
Over the last few years, Sandy's work has been awarded and published by numerous organizations including Outdoor Photographer, Ranger Rick Jr., VIA Magazine, Jackson Hole Magazine, National Wildlife Federation, Defenders of Wildlife, World Wildlife Fund, Yellowstone Association, Wyoming Wildlife, Buffalo Field Campaign, Outside Bozeman and The Weather Channel. Recently, Sandy had the privilege of being profiled in Yellowstone Gate, a magazine focusing on local news and life around Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
An avid naturalist and animal behaviorist, Sandy can be found in continuous pursuit of images which capture the spirit of the natural world and its inhabitants. She hopes her images inspire you to explore the wonders of nature in your own little corner of the world.
