My name is ,David Schleinkofer, and I have been a professional artist / illustrator for some 39 years now. I received my art training at ,Bucks County Community College and The Philadelphia College of Art, now The University of The Arts, both in Pennsylvania. My commercial work has been used by many of the advertising agencies in New York City as well as book publishers and magazine publishers and Game companies around America. Some Advertising includes; Cutty Sark, Levis,USA TODAY, Griffen Chemical, BASF, Bailey's Irish Cream,Champion International Paper, Tide, Grey Poupon, T.V. commercial for Schmidt's Old Time Bread. Some of the toy Companies include; Transformers/Hasbro,Milton Bradley,Mattel Hot Wheels( story books),and video games include;Sim City, Sim Copter,Sim Tower, Absolute Zero. Books include; Robotech paperback series, Battlestar Galactica series,as well as many other science fiction paper backs for, Simon and Schuster,Ballatine/DelRey, Ace , and others. Some magazine work appeared in Science Digest, Asimov Sci-Fi Magazine and Cosmopolitan Magazine. I did conceptual artwork for a Kid's Sci-Fi show that was developed for BBC America by Rick Sigglekow one of the developers of ,Thomas the Train. The bulk of this work was done between 1976 and 1997. Today I focus more on the fine arts, doing mostly landscapes, Marine art, Portraits both human and animal and still do paper back covers. Most recently for the Sue Henry Murder Mysteries published by The Penguin Group. My artwork has been sold to collectors all over the world and much of what is seen on this website is for sale. .
