I have started making photos about 40 years ago. My first camera was an ‘Agfa Click’ which I borrowed from my brother – at that time I couldn’t afford any camera at all. But I was not really satisfied with it and was lucky to get the real ‘Zeiss Ikonta’ from my parents – it was out of the mode already. Indeed you can see a lot of pictures I took with that camera in my stream. Of course, after earning some money I bought my own ‘modern’ camera in 1974: A Minolta SRT 101b.
But only one year later I was so impressed by a used Leica M2 that I immediately sold my Minolta including three lenses. With that the Leica was only half paid!
In 1976 I added one of the last available Rolleiflex T models – new from the store! You can also see some of the pictures of that time.
I don’t want to bore you with the whole story – I still love to make photos, now even more, with all that possibilities of sharing and discussing. Although I’m using digital cameras too my main focus is still on medium format film cameras. For me the resolution and colour contrast of a 6x6 negative is still not beatable by any digital camera – at least my personal opinion..
So just enjoy my stream and if you like, give me some comments.

Thanks !

Ulrich
