I grew up in Kenya on the doorstep of some of the greatest wildlife areas in the world. Since a young age I have been going on Safaris, birding, capturing snakes and generally just spending time in the wilds of Kenya. A brief period in UK earned me my Zoology degree and I headed straight back for Africa to study mongooses where I have been ever since. I spent time in South Africa where I worked as a guide and tracker in a small private game reserve and now live and work as a walking Safari guide in the Selous game reserve, the largest in Africa.
I have been taking pictures for less than a year so am very much a beginner, any advice on photography will be greatly appreciated. Being exposed to animals of all shapes and sizes on a daily basis is helping me improve my pictures no end. Currently I have gone the way of Nikon and have a D200 with various lenses, my favorite being the Nikkor 80-400 VR lens.
I will be happy to answer anybodies questions or queries regarding safaris in Africa, where to go and when etc.
