Old guy with a camera...
I'm mostly a vernacular photographer of the hunter gatherer school. Life is filled with so many interesting and beautiful details that one has a tendency to overlook. For me photography is a way to examine and appreciate these little, often unseen details.

Use of photos:
All of my non-portrait photos are released under an "Attribution, Noncommercial, Share Alike" Creative-Commons license. To comply with the attribution requirements of my license one of two things must happen:

First Option: Please make the photo itself a clickable link back to the main Flickr photo page for that particular photo. Credit: Arbyreed

Second Option: There must be a text link directly under the photo back to the main Flickr photo page for that particular photo crediting Arbyreed. For print material a simple photo credit will do.

If your desired use falls outside the CC license feel free to contact me via Flickr Mail. I make pictures for fun and have no interest in making money from my hobby but I do want to keep control of what I create. Please ask instead of just taking. It is likely that I will grant your request for no cost.

    Dom Walton says:

"Arby is an inspirational photographer. He does not restrict himself to a particular style, subject or technique. He is prolific and his brilliant work spans many genres; landscape, macro, portrait, urbex, hdr, long-exposures, abstract, reportage, archive, there is no limit. He sees, he captures. It is a joy to see his images appear, and read his thoughtful comments."
