I am a spider naturalist and identifier from Ohio. I am writing a comprehensive book on the 132 spider families of the world. It will be self-published, sold non-profitably on blurb.com, and is entitled A FIELD GUIDE TO SPIDER FAMILIES OF THE WORLD. It is a non-profit book that describes and illustrates all 132 current spider families with identification, biology, and all genera. Most genera will not be illustrated in the book, but many of them will and all will be listed. High quality photographs contributed by many people will stun the readers with magnificent colors, resolution, and detailed spider characteristics. It is hoped that the book helps publicize new and/or recent discoveries in the diverse world of spiders!

To be informed when the book is available, please follow me because messages get lost easily.

I help spiders that I find naturally or unnaturally injured and then free them when they recover. So far, I have successfully saved well over 500 individual spiders from death, and there are many more to come. One individual Pardosa wolf spider was partially crushed but successfully recovered and reproduced young.

More of my photos are found on iNaturalist.
