The Tennessee State University's Art department galleries and art collection provide exhibition and educational opportunities for undergraduates and community to approach contemporary concerns in fine art and art education.

We promote African and African American art along with relevant issues that face our campus, community and world. Through diverse programs and space, we are interested in challenging the ways of thinking about visual and performing arts and its role in everyday life through conversation, collaboration, and investigation.
