Hi there, thanks for visiting my profile, here's a little about myself:

I'm a belgian photographer who lives in Bruges. I've started with photography back in 2011, when i purchased a mirrorless Sony Nex5n camera, prior leaving for a 5 months backpacking trip around south east Asia, Indonesia and Australia. Unfortunatly i made the big mistake not shooting in RAW back then and use several build in filter effects in my camera. Altough I learned alot about photography, just by experimenting alot, every day along the way and buying magazines in the airports.

With a mindset not to spend more time in editing pictures later on, i wanted the pictures to be as good as possible just from the press on the shutterbutton in the moment itself. And almost immidiatly left "auto mode" behind.

When i got back from that trip, i started using adapted vintage lenses and collected an arsenal of lenses, native and vintage. On my next trip, about 2 years after the big trip. I went for a road trip to the USA and altough i still didn't have any plans to start using any post processing software, i started shooting in Jpeg + Raw.

Now a couple of years later, on a boring day, i decided to install a trial version of lightroom and have a go with it. Another world went open and now finally understood what all the fuzz is about in shooting RAW and post processing. Bought myself a camera body upgrade and i think i may say i'm getting pretty good into this hobby. All learned from experience and youtube tutorials.

So i started going trough my archives of pictures, wich i try to showcase here on my page for others to enjoy.
