find your own pictures in a group

hasselbladuser says:

Maybe a silly question, but how can you find your own pictures in a group when they were added to that particular group ?

Go to the group pool. Assuming you are a member, then you see just above the top photos at the right a drop-down menu "Contributors". Click that and select yourself (you will be at the top)
If you are not a member of the group, then again go to that group pool and add me behind the pool url: www.flickr.com/groups/hb500/pool/me

Ernst's advice above is correct for finding your photos. This phrase suggests that you might also be looking for the dates that you put them in the group. That, unfortunately, is not information that you can find.

Indeed.
If it is really important, you could look at when the photos close to yours in the pool were uploaded to Flickr. If most of them happen to have been uploaded the same week, you are lucky: yours was probably added to the group that week.

Another way to display images posted to groups: Go to Organizer, select groups, select group (don't open it) and select "show only my stuff".

It provides me a better user experience, but maybe with less comfort for people having joined thousands of groups.

I just get little square partial thumbnails of my photos, only forty to a page!
On the group page I get larger and complete thumbnails, and way more of them.

user experience

which is not equal to the viever experience if people may demand to revisit and admire their posted images.

It's rather about search and information. Since the thumbnails in the organizer are just 75 x 75 px and approx. 4 KB files size any page is much faster loaded than the 100 images containing stream pages, Even with a Chrome browser setting of 25% I'd have to change my system display settings to see 100 images of a stream page on my 27 inch UHD display without the need for scrolling. In the organizer I keep my mouse all the time hovering over the "next" button and "click" that is it. And I don't need reference points like ultrawide panorama images.

So my position is clear on this and with every input in this forum from the sharing people here I may enhance my knowledge about and handling of Flickr, too.

The syntaxis is very simple: just add pool/55378282@N05 to any group name.

You can (in beta-view) even easily search your own contributions for tags/text.

Your question is a bit unclear to me, because it appears you are also interested in the date they were added to that pool? That info is not readily accessible, but I wonder if you really meant that. (-;

pool/me is easier to type (and to remember).
