Thanks MabelAmber - good to know I'm not the only one with this glitch. I am using Chrome also.
It was nice to view additional Groups and browse images. Hope this gets fixed and works like it used to.

This "View More Groups" feature does the disappearing button, with no more groups shown, for me too. I'm on latest macOS 10.13 in Safari/Apple Webkit. A flickr bug.
There also doesn't seem to be any way any more to search for finding new groups.
Random walking through lame groups isn't sufficient for finding camera-specific groups (to work around Camera Finder not being updated for 3 years...).

Yes, it was a great way to check out New Groups when it was working. Now the Button just goes away after clicking and Nothing There.
Hope it gets sorted out. Soon.

Advise to affix [BUG] to your topic title, to attract staff's attention.

In addition you could consider sending an alert to Support, using this form:

(...though not sure about the priority level they give to this issue).

Workaround: Turn off Groups Beta
Indeed. Lest we forget... the current version has been in Beta for... four and a half years now, since July 2014.
Could that be a record?

If it helps staff to troubleshoot, it's working for me. Click of the button opens up all groups of which I am a member..

[My bold]
But presumably that is *not* the link we are talking about.
The button referred to is the large blue button PAST the groups you are a member of. Scroll down and you will see the blue button 'VIEW MORE GROUPS".
When you click on that one, it just disappears and does nothing.

At the same time the VIEW MORE GROUPS button started disappearing, the group list started showing groups I'm already in, and the same groups every time. It used to suggest only groups I haven't joined, and changed the suggestions daily. (Suggesting the same groups day after day doesn't help much.)

Probably. The Flickr logo itself had the word BETA attached to it for just a couple of years. By 2007 it even said GAMMA for a while!

Coyoty:
the group list started showing groups I'm already in, and the same groups every time.
It's been a full week now. I belong, and have belonged for some time, to four of the six groups locked at the bottom of the groups page.
It's an insignificant issue for me. I have rarely joined a group displayed during my decade on flickr.
However, looking at MabelAmber's screenshot above,
www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157674807515797/#reply7...
it appears that she has the same six groups locked as I do.

Makes me wonder if others have the same list locked.
We have had a huge increase in membership in Black and White from earlier in the year. That in itself is not an issue. I, for one, am all for new members.
However, we've also had a corresponding increase in 4-color submissions in a group that doesn't allow them. It appears the new members are not reading the group rules before hitting that blue "I agree" icon.
As a moderator, it's a PITA.
Hopefully, staff will have it resolved soon.

I have two accounts, on both exact those six groups. Looks to be site-wide.

One other thing.
Three of those group have over four million pool images.
FC regular has the pool locked as it reaches the max 10,100,000 pool photos.
I have also seen a corresponding increase in spam accounts, (always posting their stuff in 4-color), another PITA, and I can only assume that increase is due to the group being locked/displayed at the bottom of the "group list" page.
Lots of banning and reporting that I didn't have to do before.

The same list displays for me. I'm a member of two of those groups, so it's also odd that they are being presented to me as recommendations.

First reported here on Dec. 23rd, 2018.
Still not fixed on March 15th, 2016.
I understand staff has more important issues to take care of, but I'm having to report and ban 4-6 spammers a day.
Could someone on staff PLEASE fix this problem.
If nothing else, just delete all six from the bottom of the Beta member's "group page" for the time being.
