Flickr Very Jumpy on Infinite Scroll Pages
|
For the past few months (worse lately) Flickr has seemed to be very jumpy on infinite scroll pages for me. This is true on both the web using Chrome at home and on my iPhone using the Flickr app.
If I'm scrolling recent activity on my iPhone, I'll get down to the bottom of the page where it will load more, then I'll scroll more and more will be loaded. At some point in this viewing process it just jumps the page all the way back to the top. I'll have to scroll all the way down wait for more to load, scroll down more, wait for more to load, just to get back to the place where I was viewing.
I don't get this problem on recent activity because it pages on the web, but if I'm on a favorites page, or a photos page and am scrolling through it all of a sudden it will jump the page up 30 or 40 pictures earlier than where I was at. On the web it seems to be worst when viewing my contacts photos. I have a lot of contacts and maybe new photos are loading during my viewing process and it's somehow accounting for those.
This happens pretty much almost every time I browse flickr recently. Would appreciate any advice on how to fix this behavior. For the first few years I used Flickr infinite scroll it worked flawlessly, this is just something new that has shown up for me in the past few months.
