I am lost in the void of rocket mail

Sheila Brady1 says:

My old Yahoo email which is a Rocketmail account seems irretrievably attached to my FLIKR account. So the Rocketmail account was discontinued because I never used it. But now all my mail messages just go to that and I can't change it to an account that I use because to do that the primary mail account needs to be changed and to do that I need access to the Rocketmail account.

Arrgh.

Catch 22.

How do I dig myself out of that?

No, you don't.

Go here and follow these steps
www.flickr.com/account/prefs/email/?from=email

1) click the blue button to add a new email address.
2) go to the new email inbox.
3) open the email from Flickr and click the link

Now you have a new, confirmed email address on your Flickr account.
Go here
www.flickr.com/account/prefs/email/?from=email

Click "make this primary" next to the new email address.

ColleenM:

Thanks very much - You were quite right. When I tried doing that before, I was a dope and mistyped my own email address, so of course I never got the confirmation notice. But I didn't notice that until just now. Thanks very much for helping me out.
