Photo limit of 1024 x 680

Why is Flickr Capping the max size of my photos?

Edit: From reading another forum post, I guess if you upload an image with the largest side being something close to 1024 (ex: 1280), Flickr will allow it to remain unchanged.

mccoyelectric It's not a change at all. The site has always functioned by resizing the images on the Photopage. The original images are not touched in any way. They are stored in the Flickr database at the size you uploaded. The restriction (which applied when I joined years ago) is that a Free account has no access to this original version.
