Embedding the New Slideshow

muckster says:

I've seen solutions for embedding the previous incarnation of the slideshow in other pages (it involved IFRAME, IIRC), and I'm wondering if there's a way to do the same thing with the new & improved version of the slideshow.

I hope it's ok to ask this here; I tried the official topic but everybody there is really preoccupied with image size and the 30 picture loop.

Thanks much!

You can actually just exchange the previous link for the new slideshow link within the iframe.

You can check out my website, i just updated to the new slideshow

Thanks, Micah, that works.... except that the resulting slideshow is too wide for my blog. If I resize the iframe, the images just get cut off. Is there any way of scaling them so the entire show will fit into the iframe?

Thanks again.

From scanning the forum on the new slideshow, it doesn't seem like we have much control over the size of the pictures being displayed, but i didn't get through reading the whole thread. My suggestion is just widening the iFrame, but then I'm not sure if that helps, being that your blog may be skinny

Brenda Anderson says:

Eric (staff) restored the old slideshow temporarily because of the number of people who were embedding it (against Flickr's intentions, actually).
