Does anyone know why my photos have an orange hue to them? I have my camera set on automatic. This usually happens with bright indoor lighting. My camera is a Panasonic DMC-TZ2.

The indoor lighting will always throw a colour cast. This is why in film there is a Tungsten base, so that the images stay true to colour.

Try adjusting the white balance for incandescent, or indoor. This may not be possible in auto though, so try program mode. The only difference (auto vs program) is that you set the ISO, and colour balance while your camera still chooses the aperture and shutter speed.

Some other options would be to shoot Manual, and manually set auto-balance. Or even in Auto, use flash to counter the color cast.

Just some extra stuff, just in case.
