As most of you will have heard - the Volcanic ash that is in currently over Britain is likely to cause some spectacular sunsets... (as well as halting all air traffic)

If you take a nice sunset shot over the next couple of days, dont forget to add it below.

Happy snapping :)

I was sat ready and waiting with camera in hand...but then it went cloudy :(

Was it just my eyes and mind playing tricks on me or did anyone else notice a kind of pearlescent look to the sky approx 1hr before sunset?

Grabbed this sunrise this morning:

Never seen the sky like this before? Could this be due to the volcanic ash? (or could it be photoshopic ash?)

I must admit - I was expecting more spectacular Sunsets.....

Great sunrise BTW.

Looking at the old "Beers" wood yard and seeing nature taking over. It reminds me of the film I am Legend...

Thats a great location for a landscape - being able to see Latchford Swing Bridge plus the old Railway Bridge. There's also a lot more greenery than I had appreciated.

Looking forward to Next Weekends Sunrise????

I took this on Thursday. It should be another good night tonight for one, and no con-trails to spoil it.

I just created a group called Volcanic Sunset my hope is to collect a pool of photographs recording the effects of the recent Volcanic eruption in Iceland. Hope you join and add your shots.

Cheers
