Guy spotted one of my pix from Grappenhall and invited me to join here. I wasn't aware of this excellent pool. Its a best kept secret :-)

I am publicity secretary for the Warrington District Camera Club which meets at the GYCA/Bellhouse real ale bar in Grappenhall. On our next email out for meetings I will let everyone know about this group and spread the word. Hopefully this should net some more contributers of interesting images in the area.

when does the club meet at bell house
There is a meeting every other Monday except bank hols, the majority are held at the Bellhouse Club (Grappenhall Youth and Community Association GYCA) Grappenhall WA4 2SG

The next meetings are 20th July 2009, 3rd August (Dunham Massey), 17th August, 14th & 28th September.
A full list can be viewed at

We are not formal at all and we generally retire to the attached CAMRA award winning real ale bar adjacent to us after meetings. Bar prices are reasonible and most of the time everyone swaps tips etc over a drink.
