We operate a stacking system, and review pictures to try and prevent photos with people and non relevant pictures hitting the stream.

We will boot people who keep persistently uploading non relevant pictures. People posting portraits will be booted immediately! (seems fair enough!!!) Buildings are NOT fragments and will not be approved. This goes for Interiors and still-life as well-

All pictures should be taken from public accessible places. Thank you.

Group Description

Urban Fragments. Get yours at flagrantdisregard.com/flickr

Urban Fragments (No People) is a group for photos of architectural details and ephemera: bits of carving and molding, doors and windows, peeling paint, rusty metal, old brickwork, decaying wood, grafitti, signs, murals, urban art, billboards.

Group Rules

Please do focus on bits of the city that most people do not notice, or ways of viewing architecture and buildings, old and new, that most people would not think of.

Be innovative: inspire us and amaze us!

This is NOT a catch-all group for your photos which you think have anything REMOTELY to do with city life. Please, no PORTRAITS, STREET PEOPLE, homeless people or street scenes with the main subject being people. This is also not the place for nature shots, flowers, sunsets, animals etc. Whole buildings are NOT fragments, and will not be approved. No interiors and no still-life.

Pictures should be from places that are public accessible, There are plenty of groups than concentrate on sculptures and urbex. Please post those pictures there.

NO VIDEOS. Videos will be removed without warning.

MOSAICS, composite images and heavily manipulated images are also not appropriate. We'd like to see real photos please, or as "real" as possible.

PHOTOS WHICH ARE NOT ON THEME WILL BE NOT BE APPROVED. WE WORK WITH A QUEUEING-SYSTEM AND PRE-APPROVING. . This is for the benefit of the group.

NEW MEMBERS: PLEASE read the threads "Some Guidelines" and "Group Etiquette" before posting your photos.

We have set a limit of 2 photos per month.
