Think spacious, environmental shots, It's not about people but about the colour and texture of urban landscape. NOT A STREET PHOTOGRAPHY OR URBAN DETAILS GROUP. Just because it's a city shot doesn't mean it fits with the aesthetic. Think Edward Hopper, Jeff Brouws, James & Karla Murray. "Urban" the man altered environment, that may contain traces of the natural or sublime, in equal or disparate measure, where human presence is acknowledged, but is NOT a PORTRAIT of a person or people, or their own 'space' please keep this concept in mind when posting.
Tiip, think carefully about your titles, they offer valuable clues to us when we are undecided what to admit and what to not admit.
Laslty no street photography, there is a difference, no vehicles & no out context graffiti, thanks.,

Also; The editors of Refraction are all volunteers, we love photography and in particular urban photography. We edit write organise and produce the magazine in our spare time. Currently the printed copy of the magazine has a nominal cover charge associated with it, this covers the cost of production and is the figure set by our print on demand service. Other costs such as website hosting are covered by a small addition to this figure.
