Hey,
I'm a 15 year old, 11th grade student from Kerala, India. I have been using Ubuntu since I was 10 years old. This was because of the implementation of Ubuntu instead of Windows in education system of Kerala. I have loved Ubuntu since I started using it.
Because of this change, many in Kerala have adopted Ubuntu as the default OS instead of Windows. I'm proud to say that Ubuntu ranks #2 in desktop OS share in Kerala way above Apple Mac.
Kerala have the potential to make Ubuntu #1 in the state. Here's what I'm proposing to increase the Ubuntu share :
Kochi is the main city in Kerala : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kochi
I have made a wallpaper featuring the Kochi city at night
If the upcoming Ubuntu 16.04 includes this image as wallpaper, it will become a great news in the medias of Kerala. Kerala has the **highest media exposure** in India. If the news that Kochi is included as a wallpaper in Ubuntu's new version, many will **try Ubuntu**. That's for sure.
If the wallpaper is included, I will directly contact the media outlets of Kerala saying the great news.
Currently, most are using Ubuntu for educational purposes. We can convert them to desktop users permanently if we include the wallpaper.
If you don't like the wallpaper image (perhaps including the Ubuntu logo ?), tell me. I'll change it.
Please consider this. :-)

It's certainly beautiful. I'd crop the building from the top of the image and remove the Ubuntu logo to maximize your chances in the Free Culture Showcase. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I have updated the image.
An example of the Ubuntu users in Kerala :
The malayalam movie 'North 24 Kaatham' has scenes where computers run Ubuntu !

There are various other Malayalam movies which shows Ubuntu. Sadly, they are not on the internet.
So, I request the Ubuntu community to include the Kochi wallpaper. It will make a big impact. I assure you.
PS: The language used in Kerala is Malayalam.

Kerala has a very beautiful countryside. Do you have such photos?
The city photo is nice, however the colors are somewhat dark for a wallpaper.

@simosx I live in a countryside. I had some pictures of the countryside. If I would have seen your reply earlier, I would have posted it. Too bad, the contest has ended.
PS: Flickr doesn't send me email notifications when a reply is posted. :-(
