I know there's some modifications here, but does anyone know the starting typeface? Interesting things happening with the R, M, and N. Thank you

No starting typeface necessary. Most logos and any display “typography” made before the 1960s was hand lettered. Typefaces were occasionally inspiration but usually they simply had nothing to do with the work. If you want to replicate this style, the best solution is to hire a lettering artist.
