Any help greatly appreciated.

My friend gave me this font I just uploaded to my photostream on his business card and asked me to identify it.

One of the Binary ITC family. Looks like Binary ITC Regular Oblique, but they've modified the "u" and lengthened the "f", and slanted it all backwards a few degrees. Or, they started with the non-oblique version, did the same modifications, and slanted it forward.

Sorry GiddeeUp...
The typeface is Philosoper and the font is bold italic. It's available on dafont.com

I found the typeface by using a script that identifies and then matches key characters that are usually unique to particular typefaces. I got 4 possibles with the right one being the first choice.

One of the curious things I found in my search was the number of sites flooding the Internet that claim to identify and supply "fonts" ...which we should all know is a misnomer to describe a typeface... That are using the plethora of unidentified typefaces we are expected to know off by heart but are actually just Google AdWord farms harvesting click through link payments.

Thanks for trying. I wish I had more time participate here but I don't.

Um, no, Philosopher Bold Italic doesn't match your sample at all.

I think my description is correct.
