Why would the 911 Porscha font work in MS Word, but not CorelDraw 11 (on a PC)? I realize that this is only a typeface identification forum, but I don't really know where else to get an answer.
I appreciate the help!

Is it a True Type Font (TTF)?

It should work.

How many fonts installed on your computer?

yes, it's a ttf. I thought it should work too. Font Navigator says I have 567 fonts installed. I'll uninstall some and see what happens. Thanks.

Does it show up in other software, like Word?

Yeah, it works in Word just fine. I uninstalled about 50 fonts and restarted my computer. Still, when I use that particular font, nothing shows up in Corel. If I use a different font and try to change it to the Porscha font, the letters just disappear. If I try the same thing in Word, it works just fine. Very weird.

In CorelDraw, type some text and then scroll through your entire font list and see if it's there under a different/similar name (not where you logically think it might be alphabetically).

Negative. I scrolled though the whole list, too. The name "911 Porscha" shows up in the list, but when I type in some text, highlight it and try to change the font from the drop down list, the preview of what the text will look like is blank. All the other fonts give me a preview except that one.

I figured out a work around for now, but it's aggravating. Thank you so much for your help, though.

I have an old version of 12 still installed, and that font works for me. Because the font name begins with a "9", it's right near the top in the list.
