Group Description

Tony Hart, art legend and kindly creative uncle to a nation of urchins in the days when children's TV consisted of the petrifying antics of Mr Noseybonk, quiz shows involving liberal quantities of neon gunge and Crackerjack, has died.

In tribute to the gentle man who inspired a generation of creative tinkering, we're collecting artistic efforts from those who remember him.

Submissions welcome in any medium or format, but we especially welcome anything involving:
-- Dried macaroni
-- Salt bags swinging on a pendulum over a carpark
-- Claymation
-- Drawings of lions standing in long grass because you can't do their feet very well.

Tony would be so proud.

We'll feature some of our favourites on guardian.co.uk and maybe in the newspaper version of the Guardian as well. By posting your pictures in this group you agree to let this happen (though copyright remains with you at all times).
