What year did you graduate high school?

My name is Michael and I'm class of 1990 baby! I'm from Minnesota and I'm 36 years old.

I am class of 1987 and I am nearing the end of my thirties and I am going to my 21 year high school reunion later this year.

I'm class of 1988, rapidly aproaching the end of my thirties. I've skipped my high school reunions so far, and will probably continue to do so.

I am Class of 1991. I attended both my five-year and ten-year reunions though they weren't very eventful. I am 34 years old. :)

Class of 1991, and haven't been to any of my reunions. Haven't been invited, actually, even though I'm pretty easy to track down. Outcast then, outcast now.... :-)

I was youngish for my year - I'm 34 and my last year of high school was 1990 (must go with the name "Mike"). I've been aware of a couple reunions but have avoided them. I don't really have anything to do with the vast majority of people I went to school with and those I called good friends I still keep in touch with (sometimes...me bad).

(Welcome to the group funkmaster.)

Whitney Housten eh? Man, I'm glad I didn't go to your school. I think the unofficial "see ya later" song when I left school was Khe Sahn by Cold Chisel. Oh yeah....!!

1990. I skipped all my reunions. Everybody I knew is probably in jail, recovering, or pregnant.

1992 here, and oddly the same age as Mike (The Sage...).

Did you leave in Yr 10 Mike ? (I may have lost a year somewhere in my interstate travels I guess, but I wouldn't think I'd lost two).

I am putting together my own unoffical anti-reunion event, got a local bar on board, along with a friend's band and a comedy troupe and a supply of organic lamb and a portion of the dinner sales goes to a local cancer hospice.

The official reunion is starting to get more and more lame and the thought of conference centre food listening to cheesy hits from the '80s lost its appeal. I will check out the street party though.

The other thing I noticed with my upcoming reunion event is how some of my former classmates relationship status on Facebook changed magically three months out from married and partnered up to single......

David, I did the Higher School Certificate (NSW's equivalent to the Queensland Senior Certificate, if I understand it properly - the finally high school leaving exams/certificate) in year 12 in 1990. I then did a 4 year Bachelor of Science (Comp. Sci) at University of Technology Sydney (1991 - 1994) and started full time work in 1995.

I was 17 when I left school in year 12 (quite young for my year but not the youngest). Perhaps you were quite old for your year (plus a year of inter-state travel)... ?

Well, survived the reunion by taking a pass on the official events and going to the unnoffical ones. I had a good time hooking up with former classmates some of whom I did not talk to back in high school but got to know now. We turned out pretty good.
