Welcome!

Share your Therm-App or other interesting/artistic long wave infrared images here. Join the group and never miss a post.

PLEASE always include an informative description with each of your images. See the About section for more info.

Group Description

Thermal images and video made using Android-based Therm-App LWIR thermal imaging cameras.

Other thermal camera images may also be posted, as can visible images that directly support genuine thermal images (eg photos of equipment, scenes also scanned at LWIR, combinations of hyperspectral images etc). Fake 'thermal-effect' images are NOT welcome other than in exceptional circumstances.

Please include a description that gives an idea how you made the image, and include the type of camera used.

'SAFE' images only please. This means Flickr safe-rated, plus no nudity, no weapons, and no intentional violence.

Please refrain from posting strings of similar images. Heavy overprints are strongly discouraged.

This group is not directly associated with Therm-App or any other business and is run entirely as a leisure activity for the benefit of the community.

Group Rules

Welcome!

This group is mainly for images created with the Therm-App thermal camera. Visible light images, and images from other thermal cameras are accepted on merit, particularly if they show an interesting technique or contrast with Therm-App images and generally add to our pool of knowledge. Images must be accompanied by a meaningful description. 'Fake thermal' images - a palette applied to a visible light image - are very rarely appropriate.

Only images that are 'vert safe' are accepted - and that is defined here as Flickr 'safe' plus no nudity (unless for a VERY good scientific reason supported by the description), no weapons, no intentional violence.

If you're happy with that, please come and join us - and don't forget to post your images!
