This is fun, although, looking through my collection, I don't have many of them. Usually I try to crop close to the letters specifically to avoid having too much of the adjacent letter(s) in the frame.
ah ha, but if you're as letter geeky as I am, you keep a "raw letters" file (admittedly on an external hard drive!) of the originals from which the letters were cropped, so you can go back to them...!! although this one was in my C-set anyway good idea though, I like it. Dd
Well, I get residues of adjacent letters very often, even when I crop - partly because combinations like AV are very hard to pry apart and partly because my brand of geekiness makes me stick to a self-imposed rule of squares-not-rectangles for letters. The letter I may be an occasional exception, for obvious reasons.
i use the same self-imposed "square restriction" as eva. i figured i would not have any O's with neighbours showing because they are practically square enough already. but i forgot that i also have a self-imposed "minimum 500x500 resolution"....
