The current theme is Curls and curves. This means that the letters must have NO STRAIGHT LINES, not even, say, the cross-bars on an H or t. Think old-fashioned handwriting or embroidered monograms...

i would have questioned the 'i' a little, but (1) i think the little tiny curves on the ends give it extra brownie points and (2) we have our J now anyway.
