I bet this will take hardly any time at all. Following mag3737's plea for the occasional single colour alphabet, let's do RED.

F. Great choice for this alphabet. It will get us primed for Valentine's Day.

what if the letter is not red, but the background is? are people cool with that? i would be.

Yes - I would be too, as long as it's a fairly solid red (I thought we already had one like that, but it has been replaced I think!). I'll say so in the description .

The description still mentions posting letters to the squared circle pool

Sounds like a recipe for rejection with this theme :)

Hmmm. Will this lovely, but not thoroughly red meet the criteria? I'm sure it can appear in some future themed alphabet (if we get to Irish/Celtic ). Let me know. asagao

If we use red backgrounds in this set it will make things untidy if we ever have a "red backgrounds" set in the future. So I would prefer to keep to red letters only.

Well I'm doing both letter and background with my K. And I think Monceau's lovely I is perfectly acceptable as it is almost entirely red.

how about my M? the red is both sorta background and sorta not. i reckon it's too late to get more specific with the rules now, but fwiw, i don't mind (indeed, might prefer) a mix of foreground and background in this theme. we could always do a more restrictive one later.

I vote we keep background as an option. And I think your M is fine, although it took me a while to see it!

I'm in a majority of one but I'll have my say anyway. As the majority of the letters are red I think the others look out of place. If it were mixed up between red letter and red background it would make more sense to me.
