Drag to set position!

patchandi ADMIN December 20, 2011
So it seems that the Beehive is finishing up! Sad to say goodbye but so pleased and proud of all the gorgeous work that has come out of this group of fabulous women!!

By way of tying up any loose ends ..... is anyone (other than Megs whose month is still in full swing) waiting on any blocks?

Group Description

A quilting bee with 13 participants, mostly in Australia, creating quilt blocks for each other.

A note to new readers:

This group has already started and is full. You may not join.

Here's a great place to find a quilting bee of your very own:

Group Rules

Can you tell I love making rules?

The rules are!

* You are committing to an approximate 12 month swap creating quilt blocks on a monthly basis using other people's fabrics. Barring any extraordinary circumstances, you must participate in the entire swap.

* You will receive a parcel each month with fabrics to make 1 or more blocks for a swap participant. You will send those blocks back to the other participant by the end of the calendar month, at your own expense.

* When it is your month, you post out 12 parcels of fabric, at your own expense, to the other participants, who will then create your blocks and post them back to you.

* You must agree to keep in touch and communicate with myself or any other moderators.

* You must be prepared to post internationally.
- For the Australians, that means there are 3 parcels that need to be posted internationally.
- For the North Americans, that means there are 10 parcels that need to be posted internationally.

That's about the end of the rules. The only thing left that I have to enforce is that you enjoy this, enjoy the group, enjoy meeting some other quilters and enjoy creating, together, a quilt for everybody in the group.
