Group DescriptionPost your favourite photos of New Zealand places and life in New Zealand to the Te Ara Flickr pool. You can now view the new editions added on our homepage.
Te Ara Flickr holds images of New Zealand from our entries about New Zealand places – so far covering Northland, the Bay of Plenty, the Volcanic Plateau, Manawatū and Horowhenua, Wairarapa, Wellington, Canterbury and South Canterbury, Wanganui Southland,, Westcoast, Otago, Hawke's Bay , Taranaki , Waikato and Nelson, . We are now working on the Hauraki and Coromandel entry.
‘Te ara’ in Māori means ‘the pathway’. Te Ara – the Encyclopedia of New Zealand offers many pathways to understanding New Zealand. When complete, it will be a comprehensive guide to the country’s peoples, natural environment, history, culture, economy, institutions and society.
