OT: Impressive service from FlashZebra

Good (or bad) customer service is one of the main ways to differentiate yourself when you're selling on the internet, and FlashZebra has good service in spades.

I ordered about $200 worth of stuff from Lon at www.flashzebra.com on Saturday, and it arrived today (Friday). Possibly not too unusual until you realise that I'm in Perth, Western Australia, half the world away.

Lon was initially worried that my order would exceed the weight limit for the lower level cost-tier for postage, so warned me via email, then a couple of hours later emailed again to say it was an ounce under the limit so the shipping quote was correct and the package was on its way.

It arrived today - well packed, and I'm very happy with the quality of the gear ordered.

Thanks Lon. Another happy customer.

I've purchased items a couple of times from flashZebra; very professional and honest approach on their business.

I didn't know that a (good looking) guy named Lon is the heart of this. I am so glad that he takes his customers so seriously and personally and I am very pleased to have done busines with him.

There are numerous comments already singing the praises of FlashZebra and as a repeat cusomer I can't say enough good things about FlashZebra. The large selection and competitive pricing is eclipsed only by the great service and speedy shipping times. I've placed about four seperate orders with Lon and all of the transactions have been flawless.

Ordered a Screwlock PC* to Pocket Wizard, CyberSync or Elinchrom Skyport flash cord to replace the lousy one Buff ships with the CyberSync. I had to use an elastic band to pressure fit Buffs cord to the 580EXll in order to get a flash. My FlashZebra cord screwed in tight as a drum and worked right out of the box. I wish there were more guys around selling decent gear for a decent price. Even e-mailed when he mailed it. I'm back in business with my Lastolite thanks to Lon.

Lon steered us right over a Holiday Weekend~!

We needed equipment within the week. Found Flash Zebra through a forum link recommendation. We ordered a part we needed. It was the wrong part. Talked to Lon. Lon was very patient with us. Got us refund no hassle at all.
Replied to our inquiries quickly and clearly.
Lon took the time to recommend exactly what we needed.
The equipment got to us quick.
This was also over Easter/Passover Weekend

After stumbling on to some of the comments about FlashZebra I checked out the site and pulled the trigger and ordered a couple shutter releases I'd been wanting. Price was fantastic, arrived so quick I wasn't even expecting it yet and was pleasantly surprised that the fit and finish of the items were like OEM. Quick service, great price and great quality. Mistakes happen with absolutely any company. Not all sort mistakes out satisfactorily, however, but FlashZebra are very good in this respect.
They are very helpful if you get in touch with them. Did you try phoning?

Ah, so you're a busy working professional photographer, then, and needed this order for a paying gig? Sorry, I hadn't realised.
But in that case what on earth are you doing ordering stuff from a company you've never dealt with before at the last minute? I'm sure you're usually much more organised.
If, on the other hand, you're an amateur hobbyist photographer who wanted some bits'n pieces for fun stop complaining and come back in a few days to tell us how your problem was actually dealt with.
Perhaps you'll have just cause for complaint but it's rather early to go off half-cocked like this.
