This is the ninth Instruction for the Year 2 of the Street Photography Now Project, written to inspire fresh ways of looking at and documenting the world we all live in. Photographs you contribute should be new work made in response to the Instruction.

The group will open on Friday 20.01.12 at 10.00 GMT. You have until 10.00 GMT on 03.02.12 to upload one photograph in response to this instruction.

Group Rules

1. This group only accepts photographs taken after Year 2 Instruction # 09 was issued, and in direct response to this instruction.

2. A maximum of 1 photograph can be uploaded per person for the 2 weeks the instruction lasts.

3. Discussions are welcomed but please keep them relevant to the theme.

4. This site may be visited by children and family groups, so suitable content only.

5. Anyone posting to this group takes full responsibility for the content of their photograph or words.

6. The photograph you submit must be your own work, and by adding it to this group you confirm that you are the copyright holder.

SPNC Year 2 is the continuation of the Street Photography Now Project (SPNP) which was organised by the Photographer's Gallery of London from September 2010 to September 2011 to promote the Street Photography Now book published by Thames and Hudson. The Street Photography Now Community admins highly recommends any street photographer to make this book their bedside reading.

SPNC admins were participants in SPNP and thank the Photographer's Gallery for having allowed them to make this incredible project continue further.
