Sony H7 Burst Mode

I'm trying to take some pictures of my son playing soccer in burst mode but as I take the shots, I lose the action because the camera needs to show me the result of the last shot and I can't see what it is I should be shooting. Is there a way to turn off this "picture review" mode? This is not the Picture Preview option as that is a "before shot."

This is when I wish the camera had an Optical viewfinder and not the Electronic viewfinder.

go to home > settings > shooting settings > auto preview > off

to preview a image afterwards just use the little play button near the on button.

You can try panning. Focus on the moving subject and twist your body as the move/run past you. This way you don't have to use burst.

Yep, that turns it off. The EVF still blacks out in between shots. Guess I have to live with it. Thanks!

Yeah, I do the panning thing, but taking a shot you think is great might mean missing out on a better shot a split second later and with the burst mode, I would have both shots.

thanks again for your help. :)

You could try shooting in the multiburst mode and then convert to animated GIF to view. Like this :

Might as well use the audioless video feature. But multiburst does have higher Res.

Hi guys, glad to see H7 enthusiasts!

You can do the Clint Eastwood thing:
Go to 'S' (Manual Shutter speed adjustment), increase to 4000 and then pray that your finger clicks fast enough :) lol

Audioless? It has audio. Or did you mean not to use audio whilst filming?
