The range on the H7 is 2.7-8.0

Macro does this usually also, but you must be close.

I learned how to use my aperture settings by rolling the wheel around, LOL. Now I just eyeball or go for what fits my mood. King Woodrose is right--H7's range from ~2 to 8. You can maximize the effect also by playing with and adding in different ISO and shutter speed settings.
