Sorry I don't know the conversion. If you or someone can tell me how much that is in US dollars I can make a recommendation.

I'm doing research for an ultra wide angle for an up coming trip to Yosemite. Standard wide angel on a 35mm is 28mm and it's equivalent on APS-C body is 17-18mm. Basically the wide end of the Sony kit lenses are "wide". I'm looking for 10-11mm or ultra wide.

So far my research has come up with the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 as the best option but it's around 500 US. I'm hoping to find one for about 450 US though.

The Sigma 8-16mm has a MSRP for 1,100 so I doubt you could find it for under 900 and that's pushing it.

I've heard the 10-20mm F4-5.6 can be found for under 600 and it comes in a Sony mount. But from what I hear the Tokina is a sharper lens at equivalent apertures and has the added bonus of f/2.8.
