Group Description

'Mirror to Discovery', an exhibition which looks at the construction of the largest single piece of glass ever made for George Ellery Hales's 200-inch disc reflecting telescope, is on display at NGC from 31 May - 9 September 2012.

As part of this exhibition, we invite all NGC visitors (real and virtual) to look to the sky and share their personal photographs of the 'Sky at Night'.

If you'd like a chance for your photo to be part of our physical exhibition here at NGC, please e-mail a copy with your name and a title to info@nationalglasscentre.com or mail an A4 print (with your name and a title on the back) to:

Sky at Night
National Glass Centre
Liberty Way
Sunderland

The best images will be selected by our curatorial staff and put on display between 31 May and 9 September 2012.

You may also share your photos on our Facebook page or tweet them to @NGC_GlassCentre.

We look forward to seeing your photos!
