Hello all. I'm in desperate need of going to Leighton Moss and the only way I can get there is by train.

Just wondering how to get there from the station. The website says Left, Right, Right but knowing me I'll get lost.

No, it's actually Left-Left-Right! Out of the station, turn left along the road, then left down the first road you come to, which crosses the railway by a bridge. The entrance to Leighton Moss is almost immediately on the right. It's only about 5 minutes walking, so you'll have plenty of energy left for birding! Hope you have a good time!

Lucky you - I've got to wait till April... Have a good one, and let us know how you get on!

Apart from the whole train shenanigan, yesterday was really enjoyable. I do advise strongly to take binoculars because you miss out on a lot!

And if going by train from Preston, either change at Lancaster or Carnforth for the Northern Trains service. I had to wait at Arnside. Went t get ff at Carnforth then saw a poster saying Arnside/Silverdale. Which made me think they were one and the same.
