noise reduction software

I wondered if anyone can recommend a noise reduction software it seems a minefield out there, I have not been into photography two years yet so still a bit green and have been trying more shots of birds in flight but many of the places that i take my photos is quite shady hence high isos is the only way i can mantain a fast shutter speed and looking on the back of the camera everything looks good untill I get home and upload the photos onto the computer, I have adobe 7 but only just learning the basics so something easy to use
thanks colin

Hi Colin, good to run into you again, I use Neat Image, I seem to find it okay. Be aware that this type of software may well remove the sharpness from the image so masking and layers may be needed, sometimes I find it easier just to mask out the bird and use the noise reduction in photoshop

Noise Ninja works well, but I have not tried any other software.

Just saw this. I agree with Steve. But I rarely use third party software besides PS. The raw noise reduction is fantastic for me.
