On the web you can easly find a lot of news about this. Look at the bottom of these links to have many examples: Sectio Aurea and Fibonacci Serie.
Basically yuo can find this proportion in many places:
Nature (many plants like sunflower and cabbage, many animals like some shells).
Movement (birds of prey hunt flying with a golden spiral path)
Architecture (from ancient Greeks to moderns like Le Corbusier).
Art painting and design.
Music (many composer used it in their music)
Fractals and other geometric shapes.
Mathematic (Fibonacci expresses this geometrical concept with the simple serie 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55, 89, 144 … in which every number is the sum of the two numbers who come before. Dividing two consecutive numbers is obtained an irrational number that expresses the golden ratio. Larger numbers are more accurate is the golden ratio: 1,6180339887 … )
