Group DescriptionThis group is for sharing photos related to RAPTOR Inc., a raptor rehabilitation and education organization near Cincinnati, Ohio. By sharing your photos in this group you give RAPTOR Inc. permission to use the photos in organization-related publications at no cost. Credit will gladly be given to the photographers. Other members of this group may not use the photos in any way without the permission of the photographers. We greatly appreciate the support our photographers provide to our non-profit organization and to our mission...to preserve birds of prey.
The Regional Association for the Protection and Treatment of Raptors (aka RAPTOR Inc.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation, education, conservation and community service. RAPTOR Inc.’s goals include the rehabilitation and return of injured or ill raptors to the wild, educating the public on the role raptors play in our environment, and the importance of preserving their native habitat for future generations. RAPTOR Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 organization with the proper state and federal permits and facilities required to rescue, transport, rehabilitate, house, and return raptors to their natural environment. Raptors include owls, hawks, falcons, eagles, osprey, harriers, kites and vultures. Each year RAPTOR Inc. receives and treats over 200 birds of prey at our Milford, Ohio facility and presents over 250 educational programs at schools, libraries, scout meetings, parks and similar venues.
