MTLB ADMIN July 9, 2010
Hi all. Welcome to The Random Logo Project. A group for, um, random logos you find. Take a photo of a logo found in real life situations and locations, tag it with randomlogoproject. Products, stores, signs, etc. Only ones that were actually produced, not design variations a client saw. Occasionally I may have to weed out stuff not in keeping with the spirit of the group, no hard feelings. Thanks.

Group Description

UPDATE: 11/12/06

What is the purpose: To submit photos of actual logos anywhere people find them.

Where you can see them: https://www.flickr.com/groups/63207657@N00/

What to do: Take a picture of a logo on any product, in any place and from anywhere.

Guidelines: Keep it semi-clean, always legal and focus mostly on the logo. No digital files of spec logos or work that was not produced or approved. DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR COMPS. That’s not what this is about.

I won’t be selling these or anything like that, and of course, anyone who submits images retains all the original rights to them. (And, because reposting someone's images is supposedly a Flickr TOS violation, it'll be assumed that any logos sent from a Flickr stream has the permission of the owner only for this project.)

Other than that? Have at it.

Submit: If you have a Flickr account already, just tag the imageand post it to the group here. Copy and paste the following one-word tag with no spaces:

(If you don’t have a Flickr, sign-up here.

Thanks for shopping. Send ‘em if you got em.

And you can also stop my blog anytime just to say hello:

Group Rules

This group is for photos of found logos that were actually produced and that which you discover wherever you happen to be. They can be on anything, (brochures, signs, cups, etc.,) but the logo needs to be the focus. And please, no digital files of comps, spec or design variations of logos that were never produced as this is not a group for reviewing designs. Thanks.
