Group DescriptionDo you have a favorite building in your neighborhood? A grand church, an old theater, an interesting storefront, a forgotten warehouse? What buildings tell the stories of your Philadelphia?
As part of its Preserve Philadelphia planning campaign, the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia is collecting your photos of neighborhood landmarks. Share with us the buildings that make your neighborhood special. Please include addresses, so we can add them to our neighborhood map at www.preservephiladelphia.org/neighborhood/index.php.
Want to know more about a building's history? Post its photo and address here, and readers can share their knowledge and stories in the comments field.
Tag your photo with building type (e.g. church, school, commercial, etc) and/or style (Federal, Victorian, Moderne, etc) to create a searchable index of great Philadelphia architecture.
- This group will count toward the photo's limit (60 for Pro members, 30 for free members)
