I've posted this in the polaroid spectra group, but thought this might be a larger audience..so..
the shutter button on my polaroid image pro camera stopped functioning out of the blue. I can still use the camera using the self timer mode, but still, was wondering if anybody knows what the issue could be or if this happened to anybody else? is there maybe a tr...
Got some 667 black and white Polaroid film that expired in 09/2003
Don't know how it was stored but the camera store gave me a money back offer if it's dead.
should I shoot it at 1,600-2,500 or box speed 3,000?
super excited to shoot BW again, after FP-3000B got discontinued I couldn't afford it anymore. I got 3 packs of 667 for the same as FP-100C is selling curr...
Just wondering whether this is an 'interesting' camera or not? Does £25 sound reasonable for a 88-1 Body, 88-3 & 88-5 Lenses and 88-13 & 88-49 CRT Hoods. Instructions are also included :-)
I understand that it takes the 3.25x4.25" pack film, so should be Ok with Fuji FP-100 etc. but I'd quite likely use it for Polaroid pinhole experiments, and perhaps to see whether the...
I came across this silly looking thing for (literally) a dollar, and couldn't pass it up. It's new in the box, with a very old pack of Polaroid 108 in it (with 6 exposures left in the pack). Still has all of the packing materials, instructions and warranty cards, "quick instructions" card, display stand, everything. I just replaced the toasted three-cell battery p...
So I recently purchased a polaroid 103 on eBay and proceeded to revive it. After what seemed like a harder-than-it-should-be battery conversion (corrosion) it worked as advertised....for a bit. Played around with using an electronic flash, but now it only works in what appears to be bulb mode. This occurs both with flash connected and flash not connected. Not sure what...
I store all my normal pack film in a fridge in sealed bags. I also store unopened boxes of 4x5 film there too.
However what about boxes of 4x5 sheet film that has been opened - do you store yours in the fridge?
I am worried the moisture of the fridge (even in a sealed bag) could get in enough to stick the envelope to the pos/neg as can happen.
About to buy an SX-70, but not sure which one.
I don't see any obvious differences between the model 1 and 2 expect the colors.
Would you prefer an alpha or model 2 over the model 1? Or are they all equally good?
Thanks a lot.
Hey! I got about a month ago a polaroid 1000 camera, and i am currently at my 2 pack of film. I have been shooting it using a light meter thinking that the camera had a fixed aperture of f8 and when the exposure comp dial was in the middle he camera was giving me a shutter speed of 125 of a second (i don't know why i thought that but i was fully convinced that the camera w...
I lent my Land camera out to a student. He brought it back and showed me this spring that popped off at one end. I haven't really paid much attention to this part of the camera before so I don't know exactly where it connects back too. Any help would be appreciated
i'm looking for the best way to scan/photograph my polaroids for others to enjoy.
i've tried scanning and even photographing them with my nikon d610...so-so results.
i am open for suggestions.
I have a Polaroid 640 and a Polaroid SLR 680. Both seem to work fine, but my pictures always seem to miss quite a bit of red color. I already tried shooting with "warmer" film, indoors and outdoors, or even with or without flash. The strange thing is, it is the same matter on both cameras!
Example of the issue:
Would anyone here know what might be causing this?
Here is a link to my image with example of the strip at the bottom.
It seems to me that something is obscuring the lens or maybe print inside camera. I do not see it in the viewfinder when focusing though
For Christmas I was gifted a 'Super colour swinger Polaroid Land Camera. As i was unaware of which film to use, I looked on yahoo answered and found that i should use 'FP-100 Fujifilm'. However, to my disappointment, I ordered the film off Amazon and it is too long for my camera and doesn't fit in the designated area. Does anyone know which type of film I ought to use...
I took my first polaroid whilst climbing in the snow the other day, after peeling I had to store it in my bag and stupidly tried to keep them flat by placing them between pages of a map. The image hadn't dried fully so when I tried to peel it off the map, some paper tore off and remained on the photo. I'm using Fuji fp-100c silk.
I tried looking for isopropyl, but I liv...
So I have a polaroid 250 that I've been using for a while, have gotten the hang of, etc (it's my first folding-style polaroid pack camera.) Now I am interested in doing some experimentation and seeing how much I can get out of the camera, so I had some questions...
I assume when you change the film selector, this changes the f-stop as well? (Based on how I understand th...
Hi everyone, I am so excited to discover this group and soon share my works. I recently found a Spectra at a flea market and so excited to potentially use it as part of my project in 2015.
Before I go ahead and opened up a pack of fresh film for it, I was wondering if anyone here maybe had an extra empty cartridge still with a good battery they could potentially help me ...
